PCI has a diverse concentration of clients that live in the world of fun and games - although our work with them is as often strategic or involves issues and crises as it celebrates openings, events and memorable occasions.
Culture: Our museum and cultural institution client base is large and our experience deep when it comes to:
- openings (and closings)
- promoting good news (and defusing or managing bad)
- long-term strategic planning
- events that need immediate attention
We have helped organizations succeed in proposing and funding a new museum, and introduced established institutions to a style of media relations and marketing that has doubled and tripled attendance and ticket sales in the course of a year.
We've also counseled clients through thefts, accidents, visitor mishaps, pricing issues and controversial exhibits.
Entertainment: We can open your water park, draw crowds to your attractions, or promote a band as famous as the Beach Boys and its 35th anniversary tour. We have clients seeking national exposure or regional/local penetration and vary techniques according to the client and its definition of "success."
We have consistently broken attendance records when we've promoted events and openings for our entertainment clients. We have a PCI-style when it comes to marketing and media relations that results in sustained communications that reach target audiences and invite action.
Sports: Our services range from marketing professional sports teams, to launching new sports in a market; promoting a company's Olympic sponsorship or finding opportunities for non-sponsors to get their messages out; promoting company-sponsored tours and events while holding the credit for the sponsor; and showcasing charitable and fund-raising events so they draw attendees and donations.
We've been proud to be the agency of record for champions, including the Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Rush, to work with Major League Baseball to promote its John Hancock All-Star FanFest, and to provide publicity on behalf of Fidelity Investments' support of the RBI League with the Chicago Cubs. We also were proud to introduce Chicago to its first professional car/drag racing venue and to promote the country's first unsanctioned benchpress championship meet.
