Chief Executive Officer

Jill leads PCI and provides executive counsels to a wide variety of organizations and individuals to enhance their brands, strategies and reputations.

An agency owner for more than 20 years, Jill also draws upon her experience as a daily newspaper reporter and editor when helping clients more effectively tell their story through strategic communications and planning.  

A nationally recognized crisis management counselor in the areas of healthcare, nonprofit, conservation, business and associations, she also advises clients in public affairs strategies, building on her past experience as Director of Public Affairs and Public Relations for Chicago Zoological Society.

Jill is a frequent spokesperson trainer, executive coach, group facilitator and national speaker on topics such as crisis management, building brands, and social media. Her client programs have earned six national PRSA Silver Anvils as well as more than 145 national and regional communications awards. The Public Relations Society of America recognized her deep commitment to community service in 2007 by awarding her the prestigious Paul Lund Public Service Award, and in 2015 the Publicity Club of Chicago honored her with its Lifetime Achievement Award.

Jill champions efforts to improve the lives of children and to conserve nature and wildlife. She is an active board member for Openlands and Girls in the Game and is advisor to the Illinois Nature Preserves Commission. And she takes photos while she hikes, bikes and canoes.
