3 Questions: New digital communications talent

We craft strategic digital campaigns that make authentic connections with audiences, driving real-world success for our clients and their causes. Two people behind those campaigns are Stephanie Pyrzynski and Rae Yung, who both joined PCI’s digital team last fall. The two of them took the time to answer our first edition of “3 Questions.”

STEPHANIE PYRZYNSKI
Digital Analytics Specialist

Stephanie Pyrzynski leads measurement at PCI. With five years of digital marketing and business experience as an owner of a small internet marketing agency, she brings data-driven insights to client challenges. Her academic background B.A. in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Masters in Communication from Loyola University Chicago informs her human approach to digital analytics.  

What are you working on right now?

At the moment, I’m working on an SEO audit and competitive analysis for a boutique content agency.  

What's the most interesting digital trend you're observing so far in 2017?

The most interesting trend I’ve observed so far in 2017 is the growth of influencer marketing. Analytics tools that help you find and connect with influencers who can help your brand increase its effectiveness and reach objectives are popping up quite a bit.

What do you enjoy most about working at PCI?

What I enjoy most about working at PCI is the culture. We have a multi-generational office make-up that’s unusually collaborative and inclusive. You want to hang out with your co-workers after work, and you feel happy coming to work each day.

RAE YUNG
Design Specialist

Rae has been working in educational/nonprofit design, marketing and communications since 2010, when she graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Anthropology. She also holds an MA from the University of Chicago focusing on digital media and museum studies.

What are you working on right now?

Over the last few days, I've worked on a communications plan, an infographic, social media graphics, awards plaques, a social media content calendar and mockups, and a visual timeline.

What's the most interesting digital trend you're observing so far in 2017?

This is a bit esoteric, but one of my hobbies is Interactive Fiction (IF). Lately, I've noticed a rise in the number of crowdfunded IF projects and paywalled IF, which I find fascinating!

What do you enjoy most about working at PCI?

I love the variety of projects I get to work on. In the last couple months, I've worked with about 20 different clients on more than 70 projects ranging from illustration to specialty print materials.

I've worked both freelance and in-house, and the agency model feels like the best of both worlds to me: I get to do something new every day, but I also have the infrastructure support of a PCI team on every account.
